Rectifier bridge structure and classification

The structural rectifier bridge is usually bridged by two or four rectifying silicon chips, two of which are half bridges, and four of which are called full bridges. The external package is made of insulating material, and the high-power rectifier bridge is encapsulated with a zinc metal shell outside the insulating layer to enhance heat dissipation performance.

The classification rectifier bridge has the characteristics of small size and convenient use, and is widely used in household appliances and industrial electronic circuits. The commonly used low-power rectifier bridges are divided into full bridge and half bridge. The full bridge is to connect four silicon rectifier diodes. In the form of bridges, the common models are QL52~QL61 series, PM104M and BR300 series. The half bridge has three structures: one is to connect two diodes in series, and one electrode is drawn at the node (such as 2CQ1 type). The other is to connect two diodes back-to-back reverse polarity (called common cathode type, such as 2CQ2 type); the third is to connect two diode heads to the opposite polarity (referred to as common type, such as 2CQ3 type) .
