First, manual welding (we do not recommend using this method)
1) Solder tin material: tin 6/4 alloy or silver.
2) To prevent cracking, bake the product before hand soldering.
3) Keep the soldering iron edge temperature at 300 ° C 5 ° C MAX (25 W) and complete the soldering in 3 seconds. If the temperature is higher, the welding time should be shortened accordingly (1 second for every 10 °C increase).
4) SMD diodes During the manual soldering process, be careful not to damage the shape of the product, especially the wiring points or resin (do not apply any pressure to the product during soldering).
5) Do not reuse products that have been soldered once.
6) It is recommended to use a soldering iron with temperature control function.
Second) reflow soldering
1) Recommended tin gel specifications a) Melting temperature is 178~192°C b) Composition: tin 63%, lead 37%.
2.) It is absolutely not allowed to carry out the next operation without the product returning to room temperature without cooling.
3.) Reflow process diagram (tested on LED resin surface) is required.
Third, rework
1) Rework should be completed within 260 ° C in 5 seconds.
2) The soldering iron tip cannot touch the copper foil.
3) It is best to use a double-head soldering iron.
4) Requirements for cleaning after welding: a) use alcohol solvent, such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA), b) temperature x time: less than 50 ° C x 30 seconds, or less than 30 ° C x 3 minutes, c) ultrasonic cleaning : Less than 15W / chamber, chamber capacity: up to 1 liter, d) Method of operation: less than 100 ° C, less than 3 minutes.
